hey guys please help me out...
i have specs..not the soda glass one..lols.
got a frame less specs...
i was planning to switch to LENS...yesterday went 4 enquiry too...
but when i was listening(not really) to that gal, i thought they are not made for me..(LENS and not that gals)..
i mean it says no washing your face with it on.....no travelling on bike without glares(nite time that can be fatal..lolss)..no sleep(this one is hard coz i do sleep while travelling)...and a many dos and donts on maintaing LENS..
so i thought specs is good...no tension and no problem
also i got compliment from gals for the same too..(cmon guys...gal other than my sis..)
the TRUTH is i love glares a lot....and i think with glares on and no specs the vision will not be clear one...(but can manage)
ok i can see without specs too...but i love clear vision..(lots of hot chicks where i work)..
so what to do,
i love my frame less specs, i love ray ban ka glares and i dont want LENS....
help me out...
(scientific reasons will also do)....
please please no laser operation...i hate the word hospital.

hey...facing the same prob here...am terrified by d laser option.Scared of lens coz they need to be taken care of all the time and i hate wearing specs!...so i manage to do without any of the above options and let my eyesight get affected...tats a bad thng i know but i can see quite okay(except d indicators on platfrms)..nd i guess i dnt need a clear vision for chkin out any1..hehe..:)

my dad's a doc and he keeps telling me that lens is only for the most responsible of people... it isnt easy putting it on (it takes a lot of practice) and if you dont take proper care, there is a risk of infection as well... because you are putting a foriegn object into you eye... maybe you should really talk to an eye specialist before you go in for it...

I wear lenses and I think they work great for me. Of course it requires some care but you'll get used to it in the longrun. I prefer lenses cause glasses make me look horrible :S

i guess specs r okay but my eye doc told me , if u wear lenses ur vision is maintained n doesnt fluctuate as in glasses but lenses r too much pain in d ass
forget laser...no point at all...
i wear lens and face absolutely no problems....i know a lotta guys whio do as well...all this dont wash ur face, tis tat and all r just chumma said in the beginnin...after u gt used to it, its totally cool...
if u like wearin shades, then id suggest lens...u cn use it on days when u wanna n on the other days u cn wear glasses...considerin either ways girls flip for how u look, u nednt worry ;)

However, i guess these days more people are catering to lenses.
Remembered a mate losing her contact lenses once. It was a pain in the butt finding it on the ground. Its really high maintenance too. if it gets dry you require some form of solution to keep it moist and stuff. and also.. the risks of getting infection. but i guess in all these, there are the pros and the cons. I guess more people wear lenses to look better and the hassle of not having something hang on their nose bridges probbies.
Choose what suits u best Nirmal. If high maintenance does not turn u on. Than u know u wanna switch off to lenses and stick to framless hot glasses!

hey, lenses sound easier than they sound. A HELL LOT EASIER. trust me on this one. The first few days or week might be a bit irritating and pesky with all that hand washing you have to do, but with just a little bit of time you'll learn to work your lenses in a matter of seconds! And as for sleeping while traveling, you'll find yourself devising methods of taking out your lenses during journeys without poking your eyes, tearing your lenses or getting eye infections. In fact, to get infections or hurt yourself, it's pretty darn difficult. Taking care of them is easy peasy. :)
haha i was just blog hopping along and came across your blog and as a person who used to be sceptical about lenses and now is a total contact lense lover (and you even have the option of all those colours!!!), i couldn't resist commenting. HTH :)

hey lenses are pretty decent man, i have been using em for last 5 yrs, its nto that u cant wash yru face with em on, or u cant travel on the bike, or u cant sleep with em on....atually i have done all three of em, khi khi khi....its pretty alright n once u start wearing lenses one doest like glasses anymore....

buddy...I have specs and some time back I got a pair of lens...but they are like so difficult to put, then you have to be careful you don't scrub your eyes,don't wash your face and millions of other things...so my lens are gathering dust somewhere....specs are good...

i use both, but like you, specs are just easier. when you're sleepy you just take them off and don't have to stick your finger in your eye to take the lens out. also, w/ the lenses, you have to be more aware and take care of them and stuff since they're actually IN your eye ><
due to past bad experiences w/ lenses, i've decided to stick w/ specs ^^

specs is for the responsible ones. And the beliefs that u cant wash ur face, drive, sleep, etc are just myths. I have been using it for the last 2 yrs and its pretty good if u take care of it.

Well i was gonna suggest laser oepration as u know there is NO blood involved (acc to my cousin) n u neednt visit any hospital for it :p
but if ure keen on the specs u cud u know get a custom made raybans askin them to use custom made glasses to make up for ur sight.
p.s. man am so velli i got nothin to do :D
