Smoking:
Actors having problem if they smoke onscreen because people fear that kids might get wrong ideas from that... Ban the same from public place, pubs, bars etc because even passive smoking is injurious to health...only 18 years and above should /can smoke....pictures of infected lungs on every packets fags...etc etc.. I know some great guys might have come up with these plans to help people quit smoking..well i have a much simpler plan than these...
BAN PRODUCTION OF THE SAME..
isnt it much easier than all of the above...

i guess that won't go down well with people..
bcoz in that case even alcohol is injurious, plastic bags r unsafe n d govt is taking measures to curb their consumption/usage... how far can they ban them? Even if they are banned, will ppl stop using them? they are still being used.
the more u restrict ppl, the more they'll devise ways to get that by hook or by crook..
What i feel is that ppl shud be taught living in moderation , though u can use/consume such things, u shud restrict over usage,..Modeartion is the only key

wat i feel is govt wud never ban its production coz its a revenue 4 them..
well i know what u mean....but mate...like u re to shruti.....why wud companies like ITC (indian tobacco company) be closed ....can u imagine they have so much tobacco money that they have ventured into hotel industry n even retail ya....

@ mia- infact ITC is also doing a great service to the underpriviledged sections of our society.. u all must have seen the 'Classmates' notebooks n stationery.. half of the profit earned by them thru these notebooks goes in educating children from weaker economic sections..

this world operates on Demand and Supply. As long as there's Demand for a certain product, no matter how harmful it is, there will always be money made out of it.
